Zhang Lihan

Brief info

Lihan is a firm believer that every individual deserves to lead a quality and dignified life and can be an achiever. Graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Education (Special Education, Early Intervention and Inclusion), she has been working with individuals with ASD and their families since 2006.

From 2011 to 2016, Lihan served in Pathlight School as the Functional Academic Head of the Vocational Track. She led and piloted various programs and curriculum development. She also mentored and coached teachers in the areas of setting up autism-friendly classrooms, developing and implementing behavioural strategies and lesson delivery.

She is also a certified Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor and holds a Certificate in Autism (Autism Resource Center). She has attended the TEACCH Five-Day Training Adolescents and Adults with Autism: Transitioning to Vocational, Residential and Community Settings and is on the journey to TEACCH Practitioner Certified.
